It is one of the premier animal rescue organizations and has the facilities to support their extensive efforts in animal rescue and care. For example, they rescued hundreds of cats, dogs, and many other animals in the aftermath of the Katrina and Rita hurricanes, and after the recent fighting in Lebanon.
